The human-canine bond is truly unique. On our hardest and happiest of days, our dogs love us endlessly, even through a pandemic. After a long day of work or event a quick trip to the grocery store, your dog eagerly greets you with a wagging tail that never fails to put a smile on your face. Join us virtually on Halloween at DogFest Bay Area: Boo! Bark, Bites + Brews for a Halloween-themed, canine-centric celebration of our canine friends and heroes! Register as a participant or team captain to help give people with disabilities the chance to experience that bond.

With the unforeseen economic changes tied to the coronavirus, your support of DogFest is even more critical. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and the life-changing mission of matching expertly trained assistance dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities at no cost. These assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Gather your friends, family and dog to join the fun virtually in celebrating the human-canine bond on our DogFest Bay Area Facebook Event Page for the annual costume contest and on Youtube on Halloween. Everyone is invited for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations and the annual costume contest! Registration is free. Fundraising is encouraged.

Receive an exclusive DogFest gift. Raise more funds to give a dog a job! Individuals who raise at least $250 for Canine Companions will receive a special DogFest gift.
