Join the University of Nevada Reno and the City of Reno to “Pack the Park” at DogFest Reno. This student and community celebration of volunteerism, civic engagement, leadership, and philanthropy brings dog lovers together for a cause.

The human-canine bond is truly unique. On our hardest and happiest of days, our dogs love us endlessly, even through a pandemic. After a long day of work or even a quick trip to the grocery store, your dog eagerly greets you with a wagging tail that never fails to put a smile on your face. We will be celebrating our canine friends and heroes! Register as a participant or team captain to help give people with disabilities the chance to experience that bond.

With the unforeseen economic changes tied to the coronavirus, your support of DogFest is even more critical. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and the life-changing mission of matching expertly trained assistance dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities at no cost. These assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Gather your friends, family and dogs and head to Dick Taylor Memorial Park on Saturday, September 26th for the 7th annual DogFest Reno. Everyone is invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more! Registration is free. Fundraising is encouraged.

Don’t miss out on DogFest. Join the fun and give a dog a job.
