Help us make our match! A generous donor has offered to match up to $5,000 in donations toward DogFest Reno from now until the event! This means that every donation you make or receive will be doubled and donated directly to DogFest Reno.

Canine Companions for Independence, the University of Nevada Center for Student Engagement, and the City of Reno are going to "Pack the Park" at DogFest Reno. This student and community celebration of volunteerism, civic engagement, leadership, and philanthropy brings dog lovers together for a cause. Whether you have a dog or simply love them, spend the day at DogFest and celebrate our canine friends and heroes that bring joy to our lives. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their mission of matching assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. These expertly-trained assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Gather your friends, family and dogs and head to Dick Taylor Park in Reno, NV on September 21st for the 6th annual DogFest Reno. Everyone is invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and a costume contest! Registration is free. Fundraising is encouraged.

Are you interested in entering the Costume Contest? Please reach out to Mary Anne for a Costume Contest Entry Form at We can't wait to see your furry friends in their best costumes!
