DogFest Cleveland 2019
Please consider donating to my DogFest fundraising efforts to support the mission of Canine Companions for Independence: To provide highly trained assistance dogs to children, adults and veterans and provide ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships free of charge, cci.org.
I just turned in my #9 pup, Jibs, and am starting on puppies #10/11. I am doing something different this time, I am co-raising/swapping with my friend and fellow puppy raiser, Staicey McGinnis Scholtz. I raised enough money last year to earn the honor of naming another puppy which I named McGinnis in honor of Staicey, our first Northern Ohio Chapter President and a devoted Canine Companions puppy raiser and volunteer/leader. We will be swapping McGinnis, a black male lab and Prince, a yellow lab golden cross every couple of weeks. This will give the puppies exposure to two different households/lifestyles throughout their puppy raising journey.
These dogs are so amazing and exceptional and are bred and born to serve an individual with a disability.
DogFest Walk 'n Roll Cleveland 2019 will be held in Uptown Park, Medina, OH on Sunday, September 22. DogFest is a free celebration of another year of fundraising for Canine Companions for Independence. There are lots of activities for families and pets to participate in. We as the Northern Ohio Chapter have a fundraising goal of $65,000; last year we raised over $100,000 which was enough to fund to working dogs. Please consider joining us in fundraising and at our celebration.
Thank you for your donation!
