Welcome to My 2020 DogFest Fundraising Page
The pandemic has certainly made it hard to fundraise for a charity I am passionate about. So many folks are unemployed, small businesses have had to close, we are unable to hold awareness events and collect donations, but the need for expertly trained assistance dogs remains. As a non profit, Canine Companions for Independence depends on contributions to operate. Donations are down 30% and that number is expected to increase by the end of the year. With the help of the generous people in my life, I am attempting to raise $100 for each year that I have been a puppy raiser. The first puppy that I raised, Meesha, turned 14 in February. Any amount towards my goal will be acknowleded and greatly appreciated.
I believe in Canine Companions for Independence and their mission to provide expertly-trained assistance dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
Please support me and Canine Companions by joining me at our virtual DogFest or making a donation to help me reach my fundraising goal.
The money raised makes a huge impact on the lives of people with disabilities and helps give a dog a job®.
