The human-canine bond is truly unique. On our hardest and happiest of days, our dogs love us endlessly. After a long day of work, a vacation or even a quick trip to the grocery store, your dog eagerly greets you with a wagging tail that never fails to put a smile on your face. Join us on Halloween at DogFest Bay Area: Boo! Bark, Bites + Brews for a Halloween-themed, canine-centric festival to celebrate our canine friends and heroes! Register as a participant or team captain to help give people with disabilities the chance to experience that bond.

All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their life-changing mission of matching expertly trained assistance dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities at no cost. These assistance dogs make a profound impact through the jobs they do like opening doors, picking up dropped items, alerting to sounds and much more.

Gather your friends, family and dogs and head to Jack London Square in Oakland, CA on Saturday, October 31 for the 4th annual DogFest Bay Area at Jack London Square. Everyone is invited to join us for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more! Registration is free. Fundraising is encouraged.

Last year, we had tons of attendees dressed to impressed for our annual human-canine costume contest, beer from 4 different breweries, loads of family and dog friendly activities, and music to match the fun, festival mood!

Don't miss out on DogFest. Join the fun and give a dog a job.
