Ironman TX Scott Whittingham
Hello Friends & Family!
On April 27th I will be participating in my first full distance Triathlon. While this started as a personal endeavor, I have become inspired by those who take an active role in making the world a better place, and would like to join them.
And so, I am pledging my effort to Canine Companions for Independence. I believe strongly in their mission to provide highly-trained assistance dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities FREE of charge.
I am hopeful that you will take an interest in this organization and donate any amount you feel comfortable.
Did you know?
Each Canine Companions assistance dog is specially matched with a person with a disability. The connection and bond that the team has is incredible! These dogs not only open doors, pick up dropped items and turn on light switches, they provide greater independence and an amazing life-time partnership.
Please help me reach my fundraising goal by making a tax-deductible contribution. Your gift will help open more doors for people with disabilities. Every dollar counts! Together, we can change lives four paws at a time.
